Introduction

We are in the business of operating amphibious tours, not manufacturing "ducks". We remanufacture our vehicles to suit our own needs.

However, each year we do offer one of our production machines to prospective buyers. After one is sold, we commence the re-manufacture of another to replace it in our fleet. This usually takes approximately one (1) year and therefore none is offered for sale during that time span.

Our all aluminum hulls were originally made for the United States military out of the highest grade aluminum. The U.S. government built nine prototypes after the old steel and gas World War II ducks revealed shortcomings. Our hulls are from the production model that the US government engineers finally decided on. To date, this is still the "State of the Art" wheeled amphibian in service by the US military.

With that said, the conversion to U.S.C.G. certified "passenger" vessels required many changes. The entire original operational system (engines, transmissions, electrical system, cooling system, bilge system, steering system, etc.) components were removed. All systems were upgraded by re-building or replacement. Additional non-required upgrades were made to enhance operation, passenger comfort and implement year 2000 technology.

THREE REASONS WHY THE "MOBY DUCKS" ARE SUPERIOR TO ALL OTHER PASSENGER AMPHIBIANS:

A. STABILITY

The biggest advantage that our "Moby Ducks" have over all other passenger amphibians is our stability! Because of the fact that our oversized tires are spaced further apart than any other "duck's", we provide the most stability. Statistically seventeen and one-half percent (17.5%) more! (102 x 1.175 = 119.85).

Referring to our "Moby Ducks" the USCG has stated "(they) ...are extremely safe", "they're much heavier construction. They also have wider hulls and are more stable".

Increased stability promotes safety, minimizes "rock and roll", and increases passenger comfort

B. GROUND PRESSURE

Another unequaled feature of the "Moby Ducks" is that we have the lowest ground pressure in the industry. This means that we exert less pressure per square inch on the surface that we travel on. This is particularly important in sandy (beach) environments, off-road soft soil conditions and when traversing aging substandard or questionable boat ramps. No other amphibian can even come close to this "Moby Duck" advantage.

C. UNITED STATES COAST GUARD TESTING

The "Moby Ducks have been tested and passed the U.S.C.G.'s actual field-test for stability in "protected" waters.

Most passenger amphibians are tested to this "protected" standard.

The "Moby Ducks" have also been tested and passed the U.S.C.G.'s actual field-test for stability' in a higher category "partially protected" waters. This clearly demonstrates our ability to operate in more severe environments than other ducks.
