Gloucester is located 25 miles north of Boston on the Atlantic coast. It is a convenient 30 minute drive or train ride.

Directions:
Follow Route 128N, upon entering Gloucester, while still on Route 128 N, you will enter a rotary. Go halfway around following the sign marked Route 128 N and proceed up the hill. You will enter a second rotary, go halfway around and follow the sign marked Route 128 North. Follow Route 128 N to the bottom of the hill, proceed straight through the first set of lights. Proceed 200 yards to the second set of lights (maneuver into the far right lane), take a right onto East Main Street (Gloucester harbor will be on your left). Continue straight up the hill (becomes Rogers Street), past "Gorton's of Gloucester". The "Duck Stop" is 1-1/2 blocks south of "Gorton's" on the left, at Harbor Loop and the Fitz Hugh Lane Municipal Parking Lot. Boarding and departures occur at the "Duck Stop", diagonally across the street from the Walgreen's and Dunkin' Donuts plaza.

Please note: 1-95 N/Route 128 N shares the same road for the loop around Boston. When the roads divide, stay on Route 128 N. At this point, the exit numbers jump from #45 to #28.

From Boston (30 minute drive):
Take 1-93 N to exit 37A (1-95 N) to Route 128 N and follow directions above. Do not follow the signs for Salem, New Hampshire.

From Logan Airport (25 minute drive):
Take Route 1 N to 1-95 N/Route 128 N and follow the directions above.

From Maine/New Hampshire:
Take 1-95 S (ME) or 1-93 S (NH) to Route 128 N and follow directions above.

From Mass Pike:
Take Route 90 E to 1-95 N/Route 128 N and follow directions above.

Train Service is available on the Newburyport/Rockport Commuter Rail Line from Boston's North Station. At the Gloucester Depot (5-minute walk to Harbor Loop).

Departures:
Continuous departures starting at 10 a.m. Additional departures added during peak periods and special events, in fairness to the group that has reserved the next tour, your tour must conclude on time. Therefore, if you arrive late only the balance of your originally scheduled 55-minute tour will be available to your group. To maximize your enjoyment, we suggest that you arrive 20 minutes prior to departure time.
